Timperley Villa FC U10 Rapids vs Broadheath Central FC U10 Spartak
Timperley Villa U10 Rapids winning streak came to an end this Saturday with a lose to Broadheath at home. The lads struggled to control the game like they had the past few weeks and found themselves 2 goals down before Ethan scored a rocket of a shot right into the top corner just before half time. The lads started to play slightly better in the second half but it wasn’t their day, especially with the Broadheath goalkeeper having a fantastic game. A tough one to take but we’ll move onto next week.
Timperley Villa FC U10 Jets vs Hale United U10 Neptune
The Jets played away Hale United Neptune this weekend. A difficult first half saw the boys under pressure, but some good defensive work from Murphy and Flynn, supported by some good saves from Will kept the Jets in the game.
The boys showed their fighting qualities in the second half. Jack led the line well up front and deserved his Player of the Match Award. A goal from Toby and a fine individual effort from Charlie made for an exciting finish. Well done boys.
Timperley Villa FC U12 Wizards vs Ashton on Mersey U12 Cobras

Egerton football club U10 Lions v Timperley Villa FC U10 Giants Impressive team display today from The Giants, bringing home a thoroughly deserved win from Egerton. Team work, individual skill and determination really came through to deliver this result. Harry set the pace and opened the scoring early on, quickly followed by a great strike by Joe who was clearly keen to repeat his hat-trick from last week! Egerton responded and scored from a quick break. Joe’s next goal came from a goal line scramble. Tyler and Zain proved a strong defensive team again this week, with Leo displaying his pace and skill down the line to help create chances. Noah and Alfie both delivered commanding spots in goal protecting the lead. Liam showed us his explosive pace, creating an opportunity with a great run, finished with confidence. Josh’s skill also on display as he pulled off a full pitch length run and buried the ball in the back of the net. Joe demonstrated his never ending appetite, finishing off the scoring with his second hat trick in two weeks. Well done Giants! Man Of The Match: Josh
Timperley Villa U9’s Jaguars vs Ashton on Mersey U9’s Comets
The lads got off to a tough start against AoM with a few goals managing to get past. The lads tried to pick it up. The second half saw them roaring to go and putting up a fight. They took their chances and kept their heads up. They have kept a positive head on them and are looking forward to pulling it back next week.
Timperley Villa U15 Vixens vs U15 Winton Wanderers
A defeat for the U15 Vixens away to Winton Wanderers on Saturday. The girls played really well and didn’t deserve to lose. Sophias great goal can be seen on video via our facebook page
Timperley Villa U9 Leopards vs Altrincham FC U9 Griffins.
Very competitive game. Very evenly matched. A case of one team taking their opportunities. We have come such a long way and how competitive we are in each and every game is a credit to the effort and commitment of the whole team. Very proud of the Leopards and we look forward to our next fixture.
Timperley Villa U18 Pumas v Cheadle Town U18
An end to end first half saw the Pumas a goal down to a penalty conceded by Pat as he was adjudged to have handled a point blank shot inside the penalty area. A second goal, against the run of play, was conceded when a Cheadle free kick crept over the line. After this it was all out attack from the Pumas however they didn’t see any return for their dominance with a saved penalty and several shots cleared off the line until Ben Q slotted home a free kick to give the Pumas some hope. Unfortunately, whilst the Pumas were searching for the equaliser, they were undone by a long hopeful punt which fell right for the Cheadle striker to slot the ball home. This now leaves the Pumas bottom of the first division with no points from their first two matches, hopefully a better result can be obtained next week at home to Urmston.
Timperley Villa U17 Hornets v Altrincham FC Junior U17 Leopards
Sooo...some second half performance that, I couldn’t have been happier with the way they stepped up and listened to what we talked about at half time (composure on the ball, aggression in the tackle and more clinical in front of goal). Brilliant 5-0 victory, and their keeper was MOTM for them again!
On my reckoning that’s DWWWWWWWW results since we returned as a team in August 😬😁 which is amazing 🤩 First half just missed a goal, second half had it all!

🏆 ⭐️ Jake
Few contenders for Player of the Week (Alex was outstanding and Nick with 3 assists again), but think Jake was superb in the centre of defence controlling the ball, distribution great, composed and good communication 👍🏻 which cut short any of their attacks and kept us in possession 👍🏻
