Updated: Sep 20, 2020

Flixton Junior Sharks Vs TV Under 14 Falcons The Falcons travelled to Flixton for the early kick-off in Division 2. Flixton had the better of the first 10 minutes and were unlucky not to take the lead. 2 world class saves from KG kept the scores level. The Falcons grew into the game and started to create chances with Joe Mc and Harry C coming close. Just before half time Flixton took the lead with a calamity in the Villa defence. Miscommunication between the keeper and defender gifted Flixton the lead. The Falcons started the second half sharper and equalised from a corner. Harry C rising high to nod home. Flixton again took the lead from a corner, as a result of some sloppy defending. With 15 minutes left Joe Mc slotted it into Harry C who rounded the keeper and equalised. With 2 minutes left, Villa came close to snatching it. 2 quick reaction saves from their keeper meant the game ended in a 2-2 draw. A well earned point in hot conditions against a strong Flixton side. Well done to Harry C for his MOTM performance.
