Timperley Villa will help prepare our members for a life that includes sport. We look to offer football for all. We want players to enjoy football whatever their ability, to work hard, to have fun and to want to come back. Our focus is on the PLAYERS and to letting the players play football. We do not let parents expectations dictate where a player participates so sometimes our decisions may not always be the same as you would like. We will always endeavour to ensure that the environment we provide will be one of the best around.

 

Our U9 and U10 teams play development 7-a-side matches before progressing onto 9-a-side football at U11 and then to 11-a-side from U13. As players progress through the age groups teams will become more technical and physical and the demands of the game requiring focus and attention to match day specifics which are normally worked on in the weekly training sessions. Players formulate their own likes and dislikes and will certainly have opinions on both team selection and positions. These circumstances must be worked on as a team to provide successful outcomes.

 

Each team will usually enter the league and a number of cup competitions with promotion, relegation and success / exits from the cups becoming new scenarios the players must face.

All of our team managers are faced with making decisions and actions on match day.....please support their process and help them where you can. We are committed to the FA Respect campaign and we need all players, parents and managers to support this campaign.
