The Timperley Villa Lions are now approaching
their 3rd season in Division 2. After 2 years of consolidation we are
hoping to finish in the top half of our challenging division. Another
aim for next year is to continue with and maybe improve on our recent
cup form, last year saw the Lions reach the Quarter-Finals of the
Manchester Cup and the Semi-Finals of the Timperley District Cup.
Our squad is made up of the old and the new. Some of our boys have
played for the Lions for 5 seasons now, others joined recently and we
have 3 new additions who we expect to make us a very competitive team
next season.
We believe in the need for togetherness, a competitive but sporting
attitude, a desire to always improve but most of all we want the boys to
enjoy their football. We look forward to the new season and new
challenges. Division 2 is a tough league but we are confident that the
young Lions will do well.

as possible.
The 2007/08 season starts Sunday 9th Sept;
home games will be on Timperley Recreation Ground, Sunday 10.30am
Saturday football for all U11 to 13s
From 30 sept there we be supervised session for anyone at South Trafford
college from 1030 till 1130. Professional coaches will ensure a fun
learning environment. £3 for none members and £2.50 for members.
