U12's wash for a good cause

On Saturday 29th September the boys from Timperley Villa dedicated their time and energy to wash cars in aid of twin good causes. 50% of the money went to the Manchester Children's Hospital Charities Cancer Research Fund and 50% went to the Clubs development funds.

Parents and children mucked in and we were delighted to raise over £440. The money going to the Cancer Research Fund is with all our thoughts to Jack's sister, Amy who is fighting through a difficult stage in her treatment. Her fighting spirit certainly shows us where Jack gets his from!

We will be holding more car wash days through the season and challenge the other age groups to raise just as much money
