The
Vikings had a successful first competitive season in 06/07, finishing
runners up in the Timperley & District Junior League U9 Division 5. Only
one defeat in 18 games saw them gain the 2nd place spot and promotion to
Division 4. In addition the Vikings won the Division 5 League Cup to
bring home their first silverware.
The
new season in Division 4 is sure to bring some sterner challenges and
testing moments for the Vikings, but the hard-work and team-spirit
displayed in their first season should hopefully stand them in good
stead for these.
The
players are drawn from primary schools around Timperley & Altrincham.
