U7s Show Their Mettle                                                                                

Following a good performance playing a year-up in the Altrincham Juniors U8s tournament, Timperley Villa U7s received an invitation to play in the 'by invitation only' Everton Development Centre 6-a-side tournament. A sunny Sunday morning saw a group of eight youngsters pit their skills against other U7s teams from around the North West.

The lads played their hearts out and ran their legs off to reach the semi-finals, finishing unbeaten in their group with 1-0 and 3-1 wins and a 0-0 draw. Unfortunately they went down 3-0 in the semi, but not without giving it a right good go in the second half to try and claw back the deficit.

A great day was had by all and thanks must go to Everton Development for the invitation and for their organising of the event.
