UNDER 16 ALMA'S

Champions!...

The under 16 Alma's have won their divisional championship after a fantastic season in which they dominated the season. 

A somewhat controversial interpretation of attempts to deduct three points from all Timperley Villa 11 aside teams means that the Alma's may have to share this championship.  the matter is currently under appeal with the CCFA and their decision will confirm that the Alma's did indeed have the best footballing performance during the season. 

This success provides a high note to a long, distinguished team management career for Howard Anson, who will step down at the end of the season.  (We understand that he is not a candidate for the City job).

The team will continue next season with Ian and Jon hoping to continue on the success so far.
