FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CHARITY BAG PACKThe boys roll their sleeves up for a good cause...7/11/06 - Over the coming weekends the boys from a number of our teams will be taking part in bag packing session in a local supermarket to raise money for the clubs chosen charity. Our charity is the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Fund at the Manchester University Hospitals Charity. This is very special charity to Timperley Villa as one of our players sisters is very poorly and the club is committed to doing what it can to help. The boys have already participated in a number of fund raising events from a sponsored car wash to a sponsored penalty shoot out. These events involved everyone in the club from the youngest teams to the older ones. So far this year we have already managed to raise over £1300 this year and we are hoping to increase this amount even more during the bag packing sessions.
