TVFC STRIVES TO SET STANDARDS

Abusive Language And Behavior Will Not Be Tolerated...

1/9/06 - Timperley Villa Youth Football Club is placing itself at the forefront in efforts to eliminate foul and abusive language from football. As the new season is upon us we request your complete cooperation in ensuring that none of our children are placed in a situation where they are exposed to unsavoury behaviour whilst playing for our Club

Please ensure that you do not, under any circumstances:-

• swear or use any form of bad language

• shout at or engage in any form of “banter” with players on the pitch. Where appropriate congratulate both sets of players.

• share your opinions with the referee however much you may disagree with them. Without exception these people give up their time for the benefit of our children and are trying their best

• tolerate any other spectator indulging in any of the above behaviour. Report them to your team manager who has committed to act appropriately to protect the children

• allow your children to swear at any other player or answer back to the referee

Each Club is under a clear obligation to the FA to eliminate the unsavoury aspects that blight the “beautiful game”. Our Club will request the removal of its own or opposition spectators if they abuse players or officials and we will suspend players who misbehave. Equally we will absolutely back any manager who acts in the appropriate manner. In short we aim to be the best behaved and supported Club in the league” From Steven Edge, Chairman.
