Letter from Club Welfare Officer

Hello, my name is Karen Jolley and in June 2006 I was elected as Club Welfare Officer (CWO) for Timperley Villa Youth Football Club.  Being a parent with two sons who play football for the club, I have a personal interest in carrying out my duties to the best of my ability.

My role within the club is to promote, support and encourage the many benefits of the Child Protection and Best Practice education and awareness programme that the FA recommends.  I am the first point of contact for all club members; players, parents, managers/coaches with regard to any concerns that they may have about child welfare.

TVYFC is moving forward to provide a safe and secure club for all our children to enjoy playing football.  By raising awareness and following best practice at all times, we can achieve this GOAL!
