FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Press Release – January 08 FA Charter Standard Club Award Confirmed! Today we received our certificate giving us FA Charter Standard status – confirmation that we have established standards of discipline, organization and best practice. In short, it confirms we are a well run Club. Big thanks to the volunteer coaches who gave up considerable time to achieve their level 1 coaching certificates and to the volunteers who were CRB checked and completed volunteer forms. This commitment means that the kids who attend the various sessions throughout the week do so in the knowledge that they will receive good quality coaching in a safe and friendly environment. This award would not have been possible without the significant effort and great patience demonstrated by two volunteers: Andy Gorman and Karen Jolly. Karen is responsible for child protection within the Club & in this capacity has set up and administered this key function over the last 18 months. Andy has led the massive effort to get the Club to this standard as well as coaching a team and assisting the more general administration of the Club.
