Our U7 (Year 2) and U8 (Year 3) sessions for both boys & girls are held at South Trafford College, Manchester Road, West Timperley. [Note: Sessions for the first few weeks of September each year may be held at Beech Fields, Langham Grove off Heyes Lane, Timperley.]

Sessions are on a Saturday morning from 10.30am - 11.45am and are run in conjunction with our coaching partners, SiS Coaching. All coaches are qualified to FA standards.

Sessions run from the start of September to the end of June. Sessions are not held on the school half-term weekends nor over Christmas/New Year or Easter.

Sessions are held outdoors on the astroturf pitch.

Please ensure you child brings a drink to each session and is wearing suitable weatherproof clothing and shin-pads. Note - metal studs and blades are not permitted to be worn on the astroturf. We would recommend that either trainers or Astroturf boots (dimples) are worn.

The U7s and U8s participate in the Football Festivals organised by Timperley & District JFL each Oct/Nov/Dec and Jan/Feb/Mar and held at the Powerleague Soccer Dome in Trafford Park.

Payment is via annual membership of TVYFC (monthly standing order).

During the U7 and U8 years, we look for interested parents/guardians to start to get involved, with the aim of having two parent managers/coaches in place for each team as they enter the T&DJFL U9 league. Anyone who is interested, please contact any Club representative.

Drink – water or juice (not fizzy)

During all matches parents, guardians and spectators must remain outside of the enclosed pitch area. Both team’s substitutes accompanied by an adult from each team will be behind the barrier at the far end of the pitch; in addition to the manager/coach from each side these are the only individuals to accompany each team of players inside the enclosure.

SPECTATORS AND PARENTS CODE OF CONDUCT

1.         All spectators from both teams must remain outside the enclosed pitch area

2.         Help encourage and support all children, praise fair play and good behaviour

3.         Do not shout instructions to players, the coach will provide this information –             too much information confuses the player and spoils the enjoyment of participation.

4.         Accept all decision made by match officials

5.         Do not pressure players. Effort and performance are important, not the result!

6.         Display patience – Children are not mini-adults. Do not expect too much either physically or mentally. Fun and enjoyment are paramount to the child’s development
